'Civil Procedures Rules part 31, specifically 31.16 and 31.17'. does not apply to cases heard in the Small Claims Court. Yet another piece of misinformation from these clowns. Just keep ignoring. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Should I really continue to ignore? They suggest that within 10 days they are referring it to their solicitors, Graham White, for legal action.
They refer to 'anecdotal information being presented via the internet' and advise to 'seek independent legal advice' and refer to 'Civil Procedures Rules part 31, specifically 31.16 and 31.17'.
Bit scary...
!!!!!! do you quote the advice that you are given, and then seek to have exactly the same question answered again???
Maybe you can help....
1. Which bit of advice did you not believe - was it the 'ignore' or the 'ignore some more'??
2. Did you read any of this thread at all??
3. Did you read any of the other threads at all??
4. Did you follow the advice of reading crabmans sticky??Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -

It's no problem coming back here for reassurance with this, honestly oopsadaisy does many tongue in cheek comments on here, most should be either ignored or taken for what they are as in a joke.
Rest assured most regulars on here don't mind reposting for you and giving you some back bone.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

Received a fine of £60 for an overstay of about 20 mins in a 1 hour supermarket car park. My other half thinks it should be paid but I am not prepared to say who was driving as the vehicle is in both our names. Is he right?0

Unless he has £60 to waste then he is wrong! Does he earn £60 for 20 mins? I doubt it. How long would it take him to earn £60?
Its an unjustified amount and an unjustified charge. Ignore the ticket, don't appeal have no contact, you may get a few letters depending on the company then they will go bother someone else!
Have a read around, see the thousands who have been in the same position, ignored them and saved their hard earned!0 -

He is wrong. As long as they can't establish the identity of the driver then they are stymied. Just ignore all correspondent from them and do not contact them.
Could you tell us the name of the parking company? And, finally, it's not a "fine", it's an unenforceable invoice. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Many thanks for your reply. The company is Excel Parking and it does say in big letters that 'Liability for this parking charge notice (PCN) lies with the driver of the vehicle'. It says the contravention is 'parking for longer than the maximum period permitted'.0
