Ooh - this must be my 4th letter from control account about a charge from Euro Car Parks back in August. It has been passed to the legal department who have deemed the case 'viable for litigation'. Although the previous amount plus administration charges is £125 (or something like that - I forget......), they want to reduce costs to their client and will accept £90 as full and final payment.
I can't remember the other jargon, but we'll see whether this is now my last letter. Now, where's my chequebook
I think that was my last ECP letter so you won't be likely to hear anything else.
You'll have nothing to look forward to now! Go get another fake ticket!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Im taking the local euro crappark literally, its sign says "park within marked bays" so I straddle two, wheels either side of white lines, thats how unenforceable they are !You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0

viable for litigation' Hmm anyone told their MD he says to the Sunday papers they don't do court!!0

Thanks for the great info, really appreciated.
Its just a shame this happened at a store that we have used for roughly 15 years. When the new store was built we took our son to have a look when he was a toddler as he had seen it grow from nothing and was very interested.
To be "fined" for shopping at a store that has had, at the very least, £200 per month for 15 years from us is disgraceful.
trisontana: The name of the company is Town and City Parking LTD, in fact it is the same group that got me when i parked in Glasgow and there were no bays big enough to fit a long wheel base van into. Shame i was not aware of the situation then.
I'll be writing a letter of complaint to the store, utilizing some if the very good wording used within this thread.
Again, thanks and i'll let everyone know what happens.

Just wait for the first threatogram before complaining. You do not want to be seen to complain about 'someone' getting a fake PCN as it's never good to suggest as the keeper that you are aware of the incident, the day or the driver concerned. Complain about the threatogram, very strongly.
The letters used by Town & Shhitty are well-known, if they haven't changed then there are links to pics of the letters on our top sticky thread 'PPC letters, what to expect'. Here's the whole forum view:

Have a look now at the letters and if they differ from what we have there please let Crabman know so he can update the anonymous letter pics.
Oh and Town and Shhitty don't do Court, as most PPCs don't. The legalese in the AA Hutton letters is pretty questionable though.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Why is people's first reaction here often 'what should I do, I am scared, shall I appeal?' when quite clearly the question should be 'how dare they, who are these people, who can I complain to about this rubbish making out that it's a legitimate fine?'
There are not many countries where this cowboy 'industry' would last 5 minutes surely?
Unfortunately the majority of the sheeple in this country have become so used to being bossed around, bullied, fined and punished by the "authorities" that they have lost the capability to think independently.0 -

Bet they called it "not parking within bay markings! However you probably were, it was just 2 bays though.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
I thought we had stopped receiving their letters now we have received a begging letter for £50. I've forgotten how high we got, about £120, now getting discount letters for late payment. Wonder when they'll owe me...Private Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0
