As you now know the appeals process is a complete sham! They will soon have your address thanks to the lovely folks in the DVLA and them depositing £2.50 in their coffers! Providing you are the registered keeper of course.
Luckily you have not admitted to being the driver. Expect a few letters threatening every imaginary action possible, but ignore them all and they will eventually crawl back under their stone.0 -
It looks like that South West Trains has kicked Central Car Parking out of my local railway station carpark as all the CCP signs has had the CCP stuff covered up, so either a new PPC is waiting in the wings or SWT are going to do the checks themselves.
What's more annoying is that Saturday parking costs has doubled to £2, it was free in 2009(but I guess they have got to pay for the new car-park somehow)

No don't do that if you write they are encouraged to send more crap. They know you must be the driver but it does not stop them then sending out letters quoting all sorts of legal garbage saying you are still responsible.
Let them waste their time and money and don't encourage them.
Unfortunately the "I was not the driver" letter just does not work!0 -
Well what ever happens I'm not paying , I have the car up for sale so if i sell it a d change keeper then the new keeper mivht get all the hasle0

Well they will get the current RK details from the DVLA quicker than you can sell it and the new keeper details being processed, but still you should ignore the cowboys, they will just use threatograms to try and make you pay.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

It's not hassle, honestly, when you really understand it's all a generic scam.:D
It's actually quite funny to receive the standard letters in the expected order, having seen previews already on our sticky thread 'PPC letters, what to expect'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
