I think you may be mistaken. Whilst it is known that that Graham White's and Roxburghe's have been reported to the Solicitors Regulation Authority as far as can be ascertained the sole regulated practitioner at GW's hasn't been struck off.

Hi, I'm new to this forum but just wanted to know if any of you villa fans out there got an excess charge notice slapped on their windscreen last Wednesday (5th) at Holbrook Industrial Park and if so, are you ignoring, appealing or paying. My car was one of them but I wasn't driving but I can't believe they can charge so much!!

I'm not sure as it wasn't me parking it there but villa fans have used it for years and all of a sudden no parking signs have appeared but I guess all the fans ignored it so it was a bit of a shock to have notices on every car window. I just wondered if all of them are paying up!!

Please go on the Villa fans' forum and post about this. You must tell them not to pay or they have all been had, this is NOT a real fine and they can keep parking there as long as there are no clamping warning signs. Some other forums tend to have wrong advice about private parking tickets, I have seen some real tosh written about the subject by people just thinking that they should pay just because there are signs up and because the ticket 'looks real'.

Let's hope not many have just fallen for it and paid, please put them right asap!

Do include a link to here so they can see the truth and ask any questions if they are still worried when they all receive the usual debt collector rubbish (still ignore).

I am a fellow football fan (albeit female and from sunny Sussex by the Sea) and hate to think of ordinary footie fans getting clobbered by a bunch of cowboys slapping bogus parking tickets on windscreens - tickets which categorically do NOT have to be paid. :mad:

my car got a ticket on it few weeks ago parked on private land, even though a valid ticket was displayed, they are saying i was given the ticket and didnt pay for it, well i made mistake of sending a email appealing with details of the ticket and have since recieved a email saying my appeal is unsuccessful and i need to pay , so sent a email confirming i was not the driver which i wasnt and i wont be telling them who was driving, hope ive done right, they dont have my address due to only emailing them and i didnt give them my address.
