You would have been better telling that M&S manager to try and get the PPC kicked off the land.
Not quite sure if they have already been kicked off, there are now so many new signs on show from a company called ppcn? or similar, the signs all look to be new and emphasis seems to be on not parking unless one agrees to the terms listed on the signs etc.0 -

Usual pseudo-legal rubbish from the new company. You cannot "agree" to a contract just by driving past a sign.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

Alexis on pepipoo got some insider knowledge recently on how they carry out their scary-letters scam. See here, read how they pass themselves off as Graham White (GW):
http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=52809
Next time they ring, ask if they are pretending to be GW today or are they ringing as Roxburghe this time? Refer to Graham White as 'GW' deliberately and listen to their shock, LOL! :rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl: Thanks for that.

It's just been reported over on the CAG that OPC lost yet another case this morning. This time in Dartford .
The informant said that OPC have been reading their postings on CAG and even tried to use it in the court case.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Even more reason for posters not to reveal who was the driver.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Seen on pepipoo this evening.
""Bit of a thread revival here due to some interesting news. OPC were in court today with another resident where I live. Case has been frozen for 3 months, but OPC's debt collecting arm - Windsor Smythe and someone are to be prosecuted for all the fake court letters they sent outOoops !""
How sad.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
And this from the CAG:-
More news from court today:
• 27 Ingress Park cases submitted by OPC.
• All cases stayed for 3 months whilst the judge examines further evidence and the working relationships between Crest Nicholson, Peverel/ Consort, OPC, and the residents.
• Fake court papers have resulted in Windsor Smyth being reported by the judge with intention of them being "prosecuted to the full extent of the law."
• One test case will decide the outcome of all 27 cases.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
The 26 other defendants have agreed to this ?
Up to seven years in prison may be awarded for
Any person who—
(a) delivers or causes to be delivered to any other person any paper falsely purporting to be a copy of any summons or other process of a county court, knowing it to be false; or
(b) acts or professes to act under any false colour or pretence of the process or authority of a county court;
I suspect that multiple offences would not go down well with the court.0 -
I parked in a car park (owned by Premier Parking Solutions) opposite
Didcot Station last week. I put five one pound coins into their machine which would cover me for a whole day's parking whilst at a meeting in London. The machine was laboured in taking my money but eventually it issued me with a ticket which I displayed on the windscreen of my car.
>
I came back from London to find a parking fine of £70.00 and the reason for this was because my ticket had expired. I then looked at the ticket which had 0.00 printed on it, indicating that I had not paid. I have appealed (wishing that I had read this website first!) and have received a reply which says that "if there was a fault with this machine and it took your money, it is your responsibility to make sure you have reported this to our office and they would have authorised your vehicle to park there for the day". How could I report it if I didn't know the machine was faulty!
>
> I feel outraged that they should charge me £70.00 when I had already paid for my parking. Since receiving the reply, I have emailed twice indicating that I am not happy with their response but they have not responded. The fine goes up to £100.00 if I do not pay them by 2nd August.
Comments would be welcome!0 -
It's not a "fine", and from now on you should ignore them. You paid the money and you don't owe them a penny.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
