First of all apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place. Its a really long thread 50+ pages so if this has been covered allready again apologies.
I'ts approaching 3 weeks now since the event when I was silly enough to stop on double yellow lines on a road well inside the boundries of Newcastle Airport (I dont think it is covered by the RTA) in order to drop someone off.I must admit there was a sign saying strictly no parking at the side of the road which I stupidly ignored.
I was approached by a guy who informed me that I had been recorded on camera and that I would receive a £60 fine through the post. His vehicle had airport insignia on its doors.
Luckily or not as yet I have not received the said ticket.
Has anyone had a similar experiance. Is it likely that they may have forgotten about me.Is this the sort of ticket (PPC) covered in this section.
    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Tony

Could be a PPC then again could be issued by plod, a lot of uk airports are covered by by-laws so appealing one of those could be a court jobbie.

Sit tight but dont hold your breath and see if owt crops up, if it does start a new thread on the main parking board or go over to http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=30

Received a letter from Graham white solicitors who have been instructed by Roxburghe debt agency for the amount of £142 for Excel Car parking
The letter states that is a legal requirement to send a notice of INTENDED LITIGATION before legal proceedings are issued in county court and this letter fulfills this requirements
    Cost associated will be
    £30 claims issue fee
    £50 Solicitor costs
    £25 Judgment costs
    £100 Warrant issue fee
£2.25 solicitors cost for issuing warrant
    Total £207.25

Any judgment against me will impact my chances of obtaining credit and be made available to any interested parties via the register of Judgments, orders and fines and remain on file for 6 years

    Please settle within 7days

Squeaky bum time do I still ignore?

Usual empty threat letter from this bunch of clowns. They are all words and no action. You can safely ignore them.

Don't go thinking that because a solicitor is involved then it's all legitimate and above board. There are plenty of dodgy members of that profession out there.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Quanto, did you not notice Ountz's post at the top of this page today, aimed to you?

Ountz has read the thread with the pictures of the Graham White letters, I'm assuming you haven't? Otherwise why would you bother reading their rubbish at all, instead you'd be laughing at it and saying 'I am now on letter 3' (or whatever)! Please relax and see this for what it is.

It would save you worrying if like Ountz, you were just playing a game of Snap! with the letters now. Have a look at the sticky thread 'PPC letter/threats, what to expect' at the top of the board. :D
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

My oh got his first Graham White letter a few days ago, I'm wishing they would phone so I can have fun with them. The place my husband is supposed to have parked in doesn't even exist, I called our local council to confirm this which they have. I would love them to go all the way so I can have the s*ds.

lol that old ploy ! like they are gonna spend time comin to visit. They dont do home visits its just another scare tactic, personally I know 4 people who had had these - me included and have never been visited once, if they ever did then they would be politely told to !!!!orf.

They won't come to visit you I can guarantee you that, but even if they do come they can't do anything other than ask you to pay, you can refuse, and they must then go away! These are not bailiffs and its against the law for them to pretend they are, the only way bailiffs come to your house is if they take you to court, you lose the case, then refuse to pay the judgement. You have more chance of winning the lottery jackpot than that.

Its not a debt, you owe them nothing at all, these are unenforceable parking invoices, that means they have no basis in law, also they can't take you to court as they don't know who was driving at the time, and you have NO legal obligation to tell them. So rest back and just laugh when they don't turn up at your door!
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

    1. They won't call
    2. If they did they can't do anything
    3. So you could either a) tell them to f-off, or b) invite them in for a cuppa and a jammie dodger

CSS Collect are an ordinary private company like any other. They just send out letters. I could set up a company today called something stupid like "Big Hard Debt Recovery Enforcement" and scare people too if I wanted. Still couldn't make people hand over cash though!
