Thanks for the responses,I suspected that would be the case and if they wishn to go to court,I would love to meet them.I have just been to take some photos at the car park the signs do ask you to pay once you have parked but do not say how long you have got before you are penalised.Don't know what happens if there is a queue or you struggle to find a space as the timing is obviously taken from the moment you enter the car park. The sign on entering the car park is approximately 10 feet off the ground, you would need to be on the top deck of a bus to read it as you enter the car park. I didn't park there this time and never will again.0

Why are you wasting your life taking photos etc......the advice is...ignore, ignore, ignore.
Car, town, colour, weather, location, day of week, time of day, duration, name of scammer, name of car park owner, store's name, reason for parking, name of solicitor, month, day of week, photos, CCTV, signage, size of paper, PCN name used, plastic envelope used, signed, computer generated/printed, hand-written....none of these make a blind bit of difference.....
It's a matter of one word...ignore.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -

"It is an offence for an unauthorised person to remove or interfere with this notice"..
I have also contacted the BPA the ask them the same question, and to point out that at least two of their members appear to be trying to deceive people into thinking these tickets have the same status as those from the council. I shall await their reply. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

For all those people who've received dodgy parking tickets, I would strongly advise you to follow the advice of the guys on this forum. IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE & if that fails. IGNORE some more !
It saved me a shed load of money & I wasn't taken to Court, nor is my credit rating affected or any other outlandish claim they may make.
I received letters 1/12/09 "Do not ignore this letter"....11/12/9 "Notice prior to County Court proceedings"...22/12/09 "Notice of Court Action"...this was the best one as the above is in big bold letters & my immediate thought was "s**t" !...then reading further down it states "...we would like to offer you one final opportunity to settle..." Haven't heard a thing since ! Not once did I contact them to challenge it, all thanks to this forum (in particular trisontana & bargepole).
However; if anybody is still not convinced, you could always send me the cheque & say I was driving ;-)))))
cheers guys...keep up the excellent work !0 -
Anyone know of any cases where the parking company have been successful in getting someone into court and the motorist loses?Next post follows in a moment ...0

Two I believe. If you cause proven financial loss, you could owe them the sixty quid or whatever e.g. if you park somewhere everyday so the business loses a car parking space and affects their custom.
It's always a risk with small claims because you only need one dopey judge to get it wrong. But the parking company defeat rate is 95%+ Of course, if your defence is rubbish then anything could happen.
Not that there are many cases - it's financially unviable. Who wants to go to all the bother for a measley hundred quid? Much easier to just send letters.0 -

Does anyone know what Excel's record is? I know they've lost, but how many have they won? Thanks for the replies so far.Next post follows in a moment ...0 -
As far as I can find out a big fat zero. Ask the same question on pepipoo.com and see if there is the same answer.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
