You are more likely to meet Elvis in the post office claiming his lottery win.
Post a pic of it on here, phone court to confirm its a fraud, which it normally is.

Thanks for getting me into trouble at work!

    LOL would you believe it.

I park at Asda opposite my work as me and the parking attendant understand each other. This morning he told me a couple of guys from my work had complained that they had been given tickets yet I never seemed to get one.

Result is I got a ticket today. Now I don't know who to vent my anger at first.

One thing I can safely say is that I won't be paying a £60 fine.

It's not a "fine" - merely a unenforceable invoice. Do NOT pay, do NOT appeal, do NOT contact them, IGNORE their threatening letters, do NOT ignore court papers (although you are highly unlikely to get these).

This was accomplished but the bailiff was assaulted and the clampers drove at him in their tow truck.
Police arrested the clamper and the final outcome was the usual - no further action..!
Wonder what the police would do if you assaulted the clampers and drove towards them. One rule for criminals, another for the law abiding citizens antagonised into committing minor offences due to harassment and other's criminal activity.

It's just been mentioned on the news that the the BPA have announced a "points" system for their members, whereby if they break the BPA's guidelines they will be given three points for each infringement. When they reach twelve points they will be expelled from the BPA.

This sounds great doesn't it? Except that there are many PPCs who are not members of the BPA (such as White's mentioned above). So this is an empty gesture by a toothless organization. This will do nothing to curb the activities of the PPCs.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

    Clampers are such nice people:-

Thanks for the person on Pepipoo for highlighting this story.

Talk about the tail wagging the dog!!
The report just typifies the true colours & pirate nature of PPC's as well as the farcical depths they have been allowed to plumb.

Having said that, National Tyres & Auto should really have been more careful when drawing up & accepting the terms of the contract with the PPC. (That is not to say I condone their entering into any form of contract with them in the first place).

However, I do applaud NTA's stance & hope that they would succeed in defending any proceedings the PPc may be foolish enough to bring.
In any event, I would argue that the PPC has apparently breached the terms of the contract by failing to allow drivers sufficient time to collect & display permits, thus justifying the subsequent actions of NTA.

Should NTA lose, I would hope that a half-decent judge would award the PPC nominal damages & make them liable for their own, as well as the defendants costs.

I am reminded of a recent, very similar case involving our old 'friends' Civil Enforcement Ltd/Creative Car Parking Ltd, and local authority owned land leased to a sports leisure company.
Unfortunately, I am not aware of the progress/outcome at this time.

Thanks Oopsadaisy, you're quite right, I was hoping it would turn out a darker shade - amended

Hi, I posted on here a few weeks ago after receiving the first letter from Parking Eye. I have since followed the advice given here and ignored and have now just received the 3rd letter which was from CSCS collection service. Will this be the last one, other posters on here seem to have had just the 3 letters - anyone received any more than 3?
