Absolutely. Yes. File the letters in the bottom drawer (don't throw them away) and move on with your life.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
  • so even though they know i was the driver i should just ignore - have written to the private landowner about this and am awaiting their response

The advice stands but you have complicated matters by involving not only thr PPC but the landowner as well.

  • My son has just received a Parking Charge Notice from CP Plus Ltd. It states he was parked at a certain place at a certain time but does not say what he did wrong. He did not receive a ticket or anything. They got his details from the DVLA.
They want £50.00 before 17th Feb or it will be £90.00.
He is in the Army, so I am dealing with his mail, (his mum). Should I pay this or ignore it. Many thanks.

please can someone help - got the letter today from Central Ticketing saying that my 'appeal' has been unsuccessful - it took them well over 2 months to come back to me so assumed it had been forgotten. It does state on the ticket 'please allow 28 days for a response'. I am not going to pay but my boyfriend is really worried that I am going to get really upset when the letters start coming through with threats
    please help!

Why don't you have a look at the letters beforehand then? Forewarned is forearmed! :D

Central Ticketing are one of the PPCs that have joined the growing MSE private parking companies 'Hall of Shame' with example letters clearly shown on this sticky thread:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2214803

Then when you get the next letter in the chain you can happily file it away as you've seen it all before and know what's going to happen next. NOTHING! :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • I'm on my 3rd letter from Europarks, saying they are going to take me to a small claims court. I haven't replied but am worried. From what I've read they wont take me to court - but if they do, am I likely to get a huge fine and fees?
