My OH has pointed out I can just stock up on nit treatment, lol. We seem to be getting recurrent waves of them at the school at the moment. Bring back the county-wide Bug Busting weeks!0

whats the policy for returns when they have so many offers ?
ie last weeks OOTW is now back to £99 if its returned for an exchange do they give the reduced rate or the current rate ??
I think they should change their delivery and packing set-up anyway, ive just received a half empty box and another one with 2 satchets in ! total waste.

You should be able to get nit lotions free of charge if you take in one of the "lodgers" stuck to a piece of paper, part of the minor ailments scheme in Scotland and England. Alternatively the Nitty Gritty comb is great for prevention and cure as it removes lice and eggs, I just gave my kids the once over with it and some conditioner each week as a prevention. It costs a tenner or you can get one on prescription, saves a lot of money and hassle.
off topic
last week i brought 3 Elle bags on line and one was for my mum...i thought i would pop it in to her as she works in a shop close to boots...well i walk into boots with the bag and set the security alarms off:eek: going in, i just explained the story to the SA which she was fine about, so beware if you are taking any of these back to have your invoice with you..0 -

I did that a few weeks ago and got a free pharmacists prescription . Thing is she was only allowed to prescribe from a certain list so I ended up with a chemical treatment called Derbac (sp?) which frankly was a waste of time. I much prefer Hedrin (suffocates them in a shrink-wrap coating of pure silicon or something like that) even though I have to pay for it. I have a nitty gritty comb too, but we do seem to have a permenant infection source in my son's new school.
Might try the Tea Tree shampoo though. Thanks for the tip.Val.0 -
Oooh. Saw loads of those little John Frieda Frizz Ease things. Think yours truly will be using his 5 x blues on them! There was about 25, so don't worry, I won't get them all!
I think someone mentioned the No 7 bathing robe/dressing gown thing. Is that for men too? How much do they cost? Think Dad would be happy with one.0 -
It's a shot in the dark, but if you're Mrs K McIntosh and you left your Advantage Card in the ACM in the Glasgow St Enoch's branch yesterday then fret not. I found your card (with over £100 on it!) and handed it in to a store supervisor. That's my good deed for the week done! :A (PS this is a great thread - I've 'lurked' on here for ages and have now finally popped my MSE cherry...so to speak:rotfl:)0

Dandy - that was nice of you to hand it in. I'm sure Mrs McIntosh will be a happy lady to know that her points are safe. Great to have such honest people around.
