Guess I will be getting loads of these then. Mind you, I think they are pants. Grew my hair a year or two ago and used this, but it just made my hair look greasy. Gross![/quote]

Theres a special method to using serum and its very easy to use tyoo much- the John Freida stuff is IMO good value and you only need a tiny bit- if your hair is long! The trick is to rub it into the palms of your hands- so you almost think its dried in, if you using a drop the size of a pea, its too much, use about half of this.
Then when you have washed your hair and its still damp, simply drag your palms over your hair, miss out the roots and concerntrate on the ends and mid legnth part. If you have short hair, use even less serum.
A little really does go a long way with this stuff, its not like many of the other serums where you would need triple the amount! HTH?.

Not working now. Website updates about 3am, so looks like the Boots monitor is on to us again.
  • Just noticed a freebie on the Grabbit board from rosieprimrose, a big Thanks to her.

    "Grazia 8 December £1.90

Free Origins Ginger Body Cream (like this but in a tube) to be claimed worth £10 (100ml)!

You need to take page 131 to an Origins counter or store for a head massage and arm and hand massage and then you will receive the body cream. The offer is limited and only available from 2-9th December."

Only a short time to get this one, it's available in stores with an Origins counter, including several Boots, sadly none near me.

List of stores here (to see all stores select "All locations" from the drop down menu)

Head, arm and hand massage, bring it on :D

Okay, advice needed. I've never had to take anything back in Boots, as I have a hide like a rhino normally. However I bought two boxes of these Umberto Giannini Spa Rituals for hair on 2-4-£6, tried one and my scalp is still itching several days later. So, questions...

1)I can take both the complete and the part used box back if I'm allergic to them, yes?

    2) Where exactly do you go for refunds? Our store only has the big line of main tills plus pharmacy/photogrphy/cosmetic counters. Do you just go to the main tills?

    3) I don't have the receipt but I assume they'll only give me back the £6. I'm certainly not going to lie about them being on the offer. Or do they automatically give you the current store price?

    4) If you don't have the reciept then do they give you a gift card instead? I'm okay about that but I don't mind them looking at my AC for recent purchases. Nothing to hide there.

    5) I got an extra 100ACM points for buying an UG product. I presume they'll want these back?

    6) I'm intending to just say "Bought these, they make me itch like crazy. I'd like to return them." Is that enough?

I just like to know the drill so I can sweep in confidently. In my experience some SAs will eat you alive if you display the slightest sign of doubt over the store refund procedure, lol. All input welcome!
    Val.

    Evening everyone,

I popped to my local today and after being asked by a friend to get 3 No7 OOTW and then split the costs but she only wanted one if she got the GWP, luckily my local had a display stating that you would get a GWP when you bought the OOTW. So I popped 3 in my trolley thingy and 2 ladies GWP and thought I would chance putting 2 mens in too, I remember someone saying that they got 5....... So i then popped to the ACM and had a browse and then got a tap on my shoulder...... No7 lady.....ECCKKK!!!! She asked me if I had all my free GWP and then took my trolley away to get ready for me at the No7 counter. I thought that my luck had run out.

Plucked up the courage and then went to the No7 counter and she had bagged it all up and I just paid and wandered off to see if I could use the bluey. Got round the corner and started rummaging in the bags and she put all 4 through!!!!

    So my logic says...

    No7 OOTW = 22.83 + 1 GWP (for friend)
    No7 OOTW = 22.83 + 1 GWP (for friend)
No7 OOTW = 22.83 + 2 GWP (for me) and I also got the 1000 points so I only paid £12.83 and got 2 GWP!!!

I thought I got a good deal and I'm pleased with everything and incredibly impressed with my No7 lady!

    Sugar xxx

Hi Sugar can I ask what shop this was in? Im going to Glasgow later today for mega shopping spree (dreading how busy its going to be) I was also going to buy 3 No7 OOTW and would be great to get the GWP's for my hampers. Ive never used the SS tills before so would prefer to go to the No7 SA. tia
