Totally gutted! i bought the no7 at £60 and now its £25! I don't have any receipt now! and when I got it there were not doing the GWP, so missed out on that too! So when I open this at christmas (pressie from hubby) i will feel sick! he didn't use his advantage card either!!! rang CS but they cant do anything now as its on offer - but if Id gone in yesterday they could have apprently refunded the £60.

You could try waiting until the price goes up again and go in with the No7 and the credit card statement or something? In the meantime get a backup at OOTW price, keeping the receipt in case it doesn't work and you need to return that one. NB they will only exchange it, not refund or give you a giftcard. And if the price goes down, then it won't work either. Refunds without receipt are always given at the price the item is currently selling, as far as I can work out.

Well after having problems trying to order the OOTW online I thought balls to it and seeing as I was going in to town anyway thought I would get them in store. I am so glad I did. :) I had forgotten my AC Card so my nan used hers and being over 60 meant that we got 10% off!. So I got 3 OOTW 1 GWP For £45 and my nan got just under £7.00 worth of points on her card (she had an acm coupon for 450 points)

Although if you are buying 3 make sure boots is your last port of call cos they are heavy x

Ikkle - you are a little pickle!!! Reading this has given me such a laugh!!

Yes, being over 60 does have its compensations, and getting an extra 10% off Boots own products is just one of them.
  • Do you know, when I read all the posts on here, it makes me so proud to be a woman! I'm an oldie, and I do get sick of hearing people say things like "The Mums nowadays don't know they're born. In our day we didn't have all these labour saving devices, or money to burn".

That's partly true, but in my day, we didn't have to worry ourselves sick walking home alone late at night/ worry when our kids first wanted to walk to school on their own or go out with their friends/worry if we'd be able to pay the heating bills/worry if we'd have a job next month.

And I can't see many Mums of today with money to burn. You're all running yourselves ragged to get whatever bargains you can to give friends as presents, lots of you are holding down jobs as well, or studying for degrees, and we all know that Mums will sprinkle their fairy dust, and make Christmas as perfect as they can for all their friends and families.

Yes, I'm proud to be a woman, and so proud of the "youngsters" that I know and those on this site. You're all generous with help and advice for newbies, and you deserve to be praised.

LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE GIRLS!!

Does anyone know if there is a points voucher inside the OOTW FCUK bags?
They are pressies so don't want to open if I don't have to!

I've opened mine and am using it for work. Had lots of nice comments about it and no-one seems to believe I got it in Boots! Definately no vouchers inside though. Shame eh?!
    :p
  • hey fellow bootsers!

HI Guys, just to let you know that there is a points coupon in the OOTW under the headband that you can get to without opening the set. It is for 250 points and is valid 1/1/09 till 31/3/09.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Thanks for that, will go and retrieve the points coupons before I wrap up the sets. Can anyone shed any light on whether there are points coupons in the No7 mens and ladies GWPs? Saves me trawling back, thanks a lot!
