Are the Cadbury buttons large bags still on offer 2 for 75p?

    TIA :D

Not sure, but I got 2 x 49g bars of Cadbury Dairy Milk for 75p this evening
  • Keep your eye on your inbox bootsers, I just got an email with a 10% off electrical voucher that can be combined with the current 50% sale, giving 60% off.

    (snipped)

Percentages are evil and confusing things, so thought I'd just point out that 50% off and then 10% off actually makes 55% off the original price (ridiculous, I know!). Sorry, I hope that doesn't seem rude - just thought I would say in case someone's doing a big shop and expects it to be cheaper than it actually is.

    e.g. original price £100
    50% off sale = £50
    10% of £50 is £5, so 50 - 5 = £45 with both discounts (55% off).

Good that you can combine the offers though. :)

I guess it depends on whether the till takes 10% off of the discounted price, or the original price

Haven't been able to log in for a while as our PC had a nasty virus ( think this has now been sorted, thanks to a very clever Brother-in-Law, phew!)

Enjoying catching up a bit on posts - seems I've missed some good uses of the blueys, but I haven't been shopping for AGES so I'll have to wait for the next till spits I think.

It's a bit annoying about the way different Boots view the No 7 GWP/£18 thingy - a friend bought the OOTW today for me and her (and someone else- dunno who yet!) and was only allowed to get one GWP. I'd asked her to try to get 3. Mind you, on my maths you'd only be able to get 2, as 3 would need a spend of £54, so I don't know how people have got 4! Rather jealous!

Anyway, it's good to be back - thought I'd managed to kick the habit, having gone cold tukey for several days, but this thread has got me back in its clutches:rolleyes:

www.bleepingcomputer.com is a godsend for virus help and information, and they can put it at any level :)

I've not been here for either ages (hae to be honest - i'm trying to use what I have) although have obtained a couple of bueys, and got the Boujois tweezers and treated myself to the new brush foundation (with free lipgloss of course!)

Waiting for the sales now, need to build up my points a bit though :(
