In my JK spree this week (to get points) I have acquired 3 x JK emery boards, 2 x JK buffers and 3 x JK nail wipes! As I have got everyones xmas presents sorted I am goint to put 3 of the items together and add a nailvarnish or two for people's birthdays next year - I will probably purchase the nail varnishes when a good GWP is on and when the items are 3 for 2 for that extra bargain! Just thought I would share my ideas! x

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributes to this post. I have been an avid reader for the last week and worked up the confidence to give it all a go.

I took notice of all the advice and bought the nail files x 2 in two transactions, used the bluey's, treated myself to the ootw and the S&G large bag (i'm in smelly heaven!) and have sold another ootw on for £17. Very helpful SA's in Swindon Brunel who did an exchange for me without the other 2 gifts being present ( too blumming heavy to carry them all back again!)

I notice people are saying they have a 250 point in their GWP mine for some reason is a 375. Was this newbie's luck.

Oh and had sooo many points 2600 in just one day - not an expert yet in how i got them all but hey i'm not complaining.

Check the 375 points as it may be for ROI.
Turn it over and there'll probably be a 250points for use in GB

The glasses voucher was:

Can be used on any glasses, including the boots Buy one pair get one free offer. Expiry date was the 31st December.

Quite a lot of the designer frames are half price at the minute, but we werent buying designer frames we were buying comlete glassess, i didnt really look to closely at the T&C's as i got the SA to check if i could use it or not, so she read it and said i could.

For all those who only want 1 pair of glasses the SA said that if you pick a pair up and it has a yellow sticker on (may be a different colour in another store) then you can have that pair for half price if you are only buying one pair. But only when they have the BOGOF offer on in store.

So if you bought a £99 pair with a yellow sticker and only want one pair there half price - £48.50 then use your £25.00 off voucher from the ACM so you get a new pair of glasses for £23.50.

Not all the glasses have the sticker - but its really useful if your short of cash and need a pair to tide you over.

I got the OOTW this morning, it's lovely (as you all know!) . SA said they has 300 hundred in the store but expected them to be all gone by the end of the day :eek:! They were only giving out 1 GWP per transaction and had run out of the men's (which upset my OH a bit)
Got some JK files to boosts my points, but the JK GWP wouldn't go through, SA said it wasn't her department and was too busy with the OOTW to sort it out, so I just left with my £22.50 worth of points!

Thank you so much for this info, I need to go glasses shopping and was going to wait for January sales. Now I can't decide to go into town before or after Christmas....guessing it'll be equally busy both times!

Thanks for the voucher .... Mr B ought to have proof read it first ... point 2... 2007? lol! Nevermind. I think I will hold on til the January sales to see if the electrical goods are reduced! Could do with a new pair of hair straighters ... saw some gorgeous mint green coloured Remington ones today that would match my bedroom interior ... lol! It's all about coordination! Really hope they go down in the sale so I can purchase with my Boots points perhaps! :rotfl:
