Has any body successfully tried to pay for the OOTW with points and get 4 GWP?
Thanks:beer:0 -
Well after having problems trying to order the OOTW online I thought balls to it and seeing as I was going in to town anyway thought I would get them in store. I am so glad I did.
I had forgotten my AC Card so my nan used hers and being over 60 meant that we got 10% off!. So I got 3 OOTW 1 GWP For £45 and my nan got just under £7.00 worth of points on her card (she had an acm coupon for 450 points)
Although if you are buying 3 make sure boots is your last port of call cos they are heavy xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Thing is, the tills may say yes to all these gwp's , but all the signs say 1 per transaction I beleive, so if you get more than one you are lucky, if you get none you are owed and if you get one then you get what you deserve?
In my eyes anyway.2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Hi everyone
This is my first post so bear with me! I am totally addicted to Boots - at work they call me the Boots girl!! Get all the survey's, emails, points offers etc!! A few weeks ago a work friend mentioned this site to me and i'm amazed too find all you lovely people out there just like me!!! Haven't been able to get signed in until now, hopefully i will find some glitches to post soon!!
Anyway i went to Boots to get the OOTW this morning and my lovely No7 lady said that i could have 1 GWP for every £18 spent. I spent £50 and asked if she would try the 3rd free gift for me otherwise i would spend another £4. It went through fine!! So i got 3 OOTW for me, mum and sis and 3 GWP's 1 for each of us and best of all i paid in full with points no problem!! Was really happy with that!!
Given that the extra points offers are so rubbish right now i'm hoping i've done the right thing and when they get better in the new year i can build them back up!!
I agree definately with ikkle tho - buy them last - they are soooooo heavy xx0 -
Hi Jilly, welcome to the thread -I am relatively new too but feel now like I can't live without it!! Just bought OOTW and it is fab. tried to be cheeky and put 2 GWP through but it didn't work :-(I didn't really expect it to TBH! Got to tills and realised I had left my purse at work so my lovely friend Laura paid for me till I got my purse back. Laura doessn't have Boots card so they validated receipt which was a bloody good job as I had 4 JK nail files and it worked out at £16.xx in points!!
Quite a funny scene when the SA asked me if I realised I had 4 nail files and Laura preceded to tell her exactly why we had 4 whilst I elbowed her to Shut up. Guess they couldn't have said anything anyway!!0 -
Morning everyone
I popped out of work to get to Boots for 9am so i could get the OOTW
I got 3 OOTW skincare sets and asked SA to scan to see how many GWP i could get 4 went through the 5th one beeped but i'm pleased with 4 of them.
The 2 ACM machines were both out of order but SA gaveme the 450 points manually. I also had a 250 No7 points vouchers (from GWP) plus the 200 points for £50 spend
Total £50.00
used £30.00 gift card (bought buy fiancee)
£20.00 to pay
Got 850 points back
Just looked in the skincare sets and there is another vouchers for 250 points, also in each of the gwp (one had 2 in ) so another 8 250 point vouchers. I hope there will be alot of No7 in the sale that i can use them on.
HTH
Where did you get the 200 pts for a £50 spend? I thought that was only online?
I had something to return for £30 so got three OOTW for just under 2000 points (w VAT reduction) and three gwp -- didn't like to push my luck and ask for a 4th one as SA was really kind and carried OOTWs to the till for me! The OOTW is lovely -- black box w drawer doesn't have No7 all over it so can be used for hamper with other things in it if you want - though I shall be keeping at least one for myself. But voucher inside not valid until January so be careful if planning to go to Boxing Day sale. (Is that when sale starting?) Voucher does, however, have a different bar code to the ones in the men's and women's gwp and they overlap in validity so possible combination of three to get 750 points back on one transaction if you time it right.
I also got some GK nail files and all the extra points. They are doing 750 points wyb 2 of quite a few brands, GK, Too Faced -- can't remember what else.0 -
Totally gutted! i bought the no7 at £60 and now its £25! I don't have any receipt now! and when I got it there were not doing the GWP, so missed out on that too! So when I open this at christmas (pressie from hubby) i will feel sick! he didn't use his advantage card either!!! rang CS but they cant do anything now as its on offer - but if Id gone in yesterday they could have apprently refunded the £60.0

I'm well chuffed - just back from Glasgow Sauchiehall Street Boots and my maths from last night worked.
10 x JK files
4 x JK wipes
total spent : £41.40
Points gained : 5250
7 blueys earned
They only had ten JK nailfiles on the shelf but SA did a stock check and said there were 20 in stock sohopefully enough for some other Glasgow ladies. I didn't want to hassle her to go and look for them so took the wipes instead. They went through the till at £3.43 each but shelf says £3.00 so they overrode the price (there were loads of these on the shelf in the JK Section). I did the above in separate transactions to earn the blueys.
I then used these points to buy 3 of the No.7 OOTW and also took 3 GWP (1 male, 2 female - didn't want to draw attention by chancing 4 GWP).
Next I used the blueys to get 7 John Frieda Hair Serums and 2 sharpeners (this was all the sharpeners they had on the shelf so I will use the other vouchers in another branch at another time)
This works out at under £14.00 per No.7 box (with loads of freebies thrown in!!!)
I was really pleased but unfortunately my 16 year old son wasn't too chuffed with me going back and forward and causing hassle (I didn't think I was - I had my plan of action and stuck to it) and hewas sworn never to go to Boots with me again!!!!!0 -
