Noticed there's one on EBay just now with little under an hour to go. It's sitting at £77. In case you wonder, it's not mine. Did have a chance to get one and did consider EBaying it but chickened out. Good luck with finding one.

Palasades in Birmingham, yesterday (14 Jan). One A6 in stock, asked to view it, lo and behold an A7. Result!! Respect to OP .

Got one from Broadmarsh Centre Nottingham the guy said we have got the last A7 but the other one may have stock.

I believe that this offer ends on 20 January. The new catalogue will come into force on 21 January.

Good luck to all those still hunting.

It may be worth being up front with the store manager - if they bring out the A6 ask if they have others in stock which may be A7 (with A6 catalogue number on the box).

I can't imagine you will get a better deal with the new catalogue.

Thanks to OP Asked to view an A6 Today at Redditch Store out came an A7 so bought it. Sent wife in to do same thing as thought a very good deal and they offered her an A6 so clearly luck of the draw or picker as said marked up with same cat number as A6.

Bargain of the day !

Will keep my eye out on eBay but have a feeling that most of them will have a reserve over £99.99

Nice to see that people use these forums to save money but are happy to make maximum profit from it by selling on (hang on a minute isn’t that exactly what retail companies do! :think: ) .......not that I’m bitter or jealous of anything!

It ended at £102 plus £12.50 but reserve not met. There's another one ended in a couple of hours and it's just over the hundred just now.

Found the easiest way to avoid the questions about the A6, when it appears walk from the shop!

I'll try a few more stores this week and hopefully will get an A7

Can someone tell me how the guarantee works (me being dumb probably). Won't the receipt show £99.99 for an A6 and not for an A7? Will this make a difference?

I had EXACTLY the same thought yesterday!! The camera was stood on the shelf for a good ten minutes so I thought 'Shall I just leave the store' but didn't in the end because most of the staff know who I am as I shop there on quite a regular basis
