    Ok,

    On your marks........

    Get Set............

    GO! It was Holborn!!

When I did the customer view & saw it was an A7 & said "Yep, I'll have it" - the guy had a furrowed brow & I thought he was going to block it (he called the manager), but it was just he didn't know how to take debit my credit card!!

To get another one I was completely candid & said "listen I know I've just had a customer view on this one here, but I'd like to do another Customer View on another one to make sure I get the same type of camera! There's a substition going where an A7 is in place of an A6 - & I don't want the A6".

He was cool about it...he just went straight into the backroom & brought out another A7! Mind you it was very quiet in there & I sensed they all just wanted to get home!!!
  • woohoo just rang and reserved one in my local store....... popping down tomorrow to view before buying. fingers crossed its an a7

It should be noted the A6 is still a good buy if you can't get the A7!

Average going rate on the A6 is £130 on eBay plus P&P so you're still saving approx £40 on those prices!

//Someone on another forum has also mentioned that the only differences seem to be a loss of the extra 1mp, and a slightly bigger screen on the A7 (2.0 compared to 1.8 on the A6)
  • I tried earlier today in the wood green store (LONDON)
out came the a6 so i left it will deffo try holborn tomorrow at some point!

No poucch in either of my two neither!

The Samsung site doesn't suggest there should be...

    http://www.samsungcamera.co.uk/product/pro_view.asp?pro_uid=253&cat_uid=11&tabmenu=5#tabs

Also be careful if you've read any CNET (US based) reviews about the A7...some on there are saying that A7 it comes with a battery charger...it doesn't here in the UK. Fortunately I got the Boots Duracell Charger reduced from £44.99 to £9.99...man, I'm loving this site!
