    Morning everyone

£13.01 from me today - really trying to get under £1200 by New years eve (My own Mini-challenge!), so I have 20 days to clear £87 - fingers crossed!

    Go for it Frasersmum!

I'm not sure I will be able to clear all the CC debt this year (or even next!), but I am going to clear as much as I can!

I would like to have my CC at £2,300 and something (even £2,399!!) by mid January - I think I can do it! The best is the more I fling at it the less interest they will put on and they more I can pay off each time!

The same day I clear my MBNA balance I get a phonecall from them offering all kinds of 0% deals . They know they are losing a good customer :).

To close my card, presumably I have to wait a month or two to pay any outstanding interest? Then should I phone or write?

Well done to everyone making payments :T .

Well done! I closed 2 of mine last month and I wrote to them. I waited until I had paid the last bit of interest (£3 I think!).
