Found this thread an would love to join!! Was £38,000 in debt in July2004! With thabks to a wonderful charity called CHRISTIANS AGAINST POVERTY i have less than £10,00 left and my last payment is due in July 2009. Nearly £40,000 in 5 years not bad, huh!!
It has ment living on an extreamly tight budget, approximatly 80% of my, fairly decent, salery goes on debt repayments!! Have friends who have declared themselves bankrupt and have been clearde in 6 months, but feel more satisfaction this way!! I WILL HAVE DONE IT ALL MYSELF!!!
Boy do I now know thw value of every penny I spend, but cannot wait till the day I can buy my clothes in a decent shop!! Have had enough of Primark, ASDA, Matalan etc!!! lol
Good luck to you all, keep up the payments and just remember it'll be worth it in the end!!0 -

Lurking is fine provided you stick your head over the parapet occasionally so that mizmir has a total from you! (well each payment actually - she will total it up!)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
