Debt Free in 2009 support thread

thats fantastic news jmf76 what a great start to 2010!! I didn't quite get to being debt free in 2009 but i have paid £2500 approx so now only have a few hundred pounds to go. I am going to aim for end of feb 2010. I wonder how many of us actually did become debt free it would be nice if some more people could update on their progress.

Sorry to butt in, folks - well done to everyone who achieved debt freedom (or even got a bit closer) in 2009.

Dragon - please start this challenge. I would be so up for it (am flunctuating wildly between going all out on the debts for a year or so, and having a (sort of life) over a longer time.) I'm looking for a challenge that covers it all!

I will do then Polly - I need to kick start EVERYTHING in 2010 and I think 2.5 years is a reasonable time frame to get things done in!
