Debt Free in 2009 support thread

hi all
another £16.32 off the cc. its looking unlikely that i will be debt free by end of 09 but should be df by feb 2010 only six month!!!

Utopiah that is amazing news!! Cant wait till i can say the same thing. This year has flown past so im sure 6months will fly by too.

thanks stacy. I really was hoping to clear it by the end of the year but hey life gets in the way sometimes. i know my debt probably does seem alot compared to most but it is to me. I am determined to clear it by feb but if not i won't be to far off target. i couldn't have got as far as i have without everyone on here though.

Have paid £50.50 off of barclaycard from bingo winnings, its even better when you get to pay those pesky cards off from winnings. off to update.

Less than two weeks to go now for me. I paid £500 off yesterday leaving my debt at less than £250 :j. It's so exciting, and what's extra good is that come payday I can pay off the remainder and have loads left over. Whoop! Some will be going straight in my savings pot, but I'm also going to allow myself a shopping trip .

thats fab news slig not long now till you're df. I've just paid £243.71 off cc -aim to get under the £1000 mark by october. I haven't got many things left to ebay so will rely on any extras coming from surveys, daily scratch, surveys, quidco etc. I should be able to pay £225 a month off my last remaining cc and it is 0% untill february, so as long as life doesn't throw any surprises until then i should be df by then

Another £25 paid yesterday - so getting there slowly but surely! I have put my Credit Card away again as I don't need to use it now - so basically all I will be doing with this card now is paying it off and then I will knock the overdraft on the head - I don't think I will clear it this year BUT I do hope to clear it in the next couple of years.

Ooh less interest is always good! I should be getting some money back from Orange and as soon as I do I will fling that at the CC!
