Finally had time to read the full thread and it's great. I think we all deserve a pat on the back for joining up! Extra Well Done for Mizmir for adminstrating it.

Does anyone want to join me with a mug of gluwein to toast our future success? It's the proper stuff... got it from my local Christmas market in Germany today! :-)

    Thank you
The total of my Argos cc is £1090
I'm getting rid of this first as it is my smallest debt and will give me an incentive to start on my beneficial card

  • Hi!

I'd love to join please! 2009 needs to be my year for getting debt free.

My DFD is officially around Christmas 2009 but I'm going to attempt to smash that and aim to be debt free for my 25th Birthday which is in July!

My total is currently around £5447. However i'd like my figure to also include the interest I will amount over the following months on my credit card. I didn't want to think I was soon to be debt free but then have the remaining interest to pay off still.

So, please put me down for £6000 by July 2009. Hopefully then I know if I pay off my credit card faster and incurr less interest I may end up with some savings by then too!

I shall update my totals each month on the 1st so it feels like big chunks being paid off.

It's going to be a challenge and a half but I saved that amount last year and was new to the MSE ways. Maybe halving the time will be a testament to just what MSE can do for people!!!!

Good luck to everyone whatever you aim is & hope you all have a Merry Christmas! :A

    Another payment cleared today :D

Aiming to get sub £18k by the end of December. Another payment still to clear so that leaves £107 to find in 3 weeks! Here's hoping!
