    Another payment cleared today :D

Aiming to get sub £18k by the end of December. Another payment still to clear so that leaves £107 to find in 3 weeks! Here's hoping!

Can you let us know how much the payment was so I can knock it off our total?!

    Thanks - and well done!

    Hi everyone

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday - busy work day away and really tired when I got in. Think we are all up to date now. Welcome to LMUni-Debt - good luck with your target - think it is always good to set the bar high! :)

Don't forget to tell us if you make a payment so that our joint figure can go up!

My CC balance is officially 0% today :) Also it's less than £1000 now, woohoo. I've got a direct debit set up for the minimum payments, so it means I don't have to worry about it at all for 14 months, by which time I'll have savings to pay off the balance in full.

Next small step is getting the overdraft under £1000, which should be in the next few weeks. Next big step is getting rid of it altogether, which should be in a few months.

I flung £50 at the CC today - unfortunately the interest of £50 went on :rotfl:, so I am still at the same amount *sigh*, next payment in a fortnight should be good though! That one will reduce it AND drop the amount of interest payable next month.

Everyone else seems to be doing really well!

I am probably being thick here but that made no sense to me whatever! If your CC is at zero how can it also be at just under £1k?:o

Balance of 0 would be better... But now it's 0% it can go to the bottom of the pile, and I can easily pay it off in 14 months :T . In fact my debt free date is this summer, but I may as well keep the money in a savings account and EARN some interest for once.

Well done to everyone for al the good work so far :A .
