Showed my sealed pot (actually a smarties ice cream tub sealed up) to my DH last night and explained the concept.
He put £2 in straight away that he was going to spend on a lottery ticket. I told him 20p a day makes a difference so let's see if he keeps up with it.

Morning all.
Sparky was right, been moving Mrs S into my bachelors pad, which is now, well, NOT a bachelors pad. Why do women have so much stuff?????? lol.
Welcome to the family to all the newbies. It's a really addictive thread, and you'l all love it.
Sparky - how addictive is the bloody Wii??? The games you get with it are the best, especially when drunk. The tennis and baseball are damned annoying and addictive. lol. We've (that's weird saying that!) got the Fit Board too. It's very very funny!
Popped some shrapnel in the jar this morning and Mrs S also popped some in, so it should add up pretty quickly....I am one of the 63336.'It is better to have lived one day as a tiger than a thousand years as a sheep.'

sealed jar no 4200 -
Large amount for me today...
Before I joined this forum I always had a 'copper' jar for 1's, 2's and 5's. The jar was ritually opened and counted a fortnight before Christmas, then changed and spent on rubbishNow I have a far better purpose for it don't I?
Emptied it last night and bagged up £25There's a couple more pounds worth in there but there's no way I'd have carried any more to the bank!!
So that's £25 + another pound found hiding at the bottom of my purse.
Got a visitor coming round later. Is it polite to tip them upside down to check for change when they arrive or is it best left until they leave?Sealed Pot #418 ('09 £414.12) ('10 £550.90) ('11 £440.60)0 -
