A money box in the shape of him or....? I daren't get one of those or I'd be forever craving the blessed things!!!......Oh mickey mouse, that's a wicked habit that you've developed, glad I'm not a bit like that (keep quiet sparky!)
..............OK Emma, let's see just how long he keeps that up, good luck!
So there you are at last Stunty! Re your question <<<"Why do women have so much stuff">>> So they always have everything on tap to care for their men!!I love the wii fit and the fit board, hubby too! I have to agree with Surfbabe about the hoola hooping, it can be hysterical in our house!!:rotfl: ........Hi Lisa, don't worry about comparing this year with last already, though I understand what you mean with that little treasure getting closer! :jWhatever amount (money not baby!) it is at the end of the year it'll still be a great bonus!............Well done cheap_Charlie, good luck with the start of your 2009 saving with us. .....Good for you too andan as it's always great when you first start it off.
ratty67 wrote:Got a visitor coming round later. Is it polite to tip them upside down to check for change when they arrive or is it best left until they leave?

Doing great guys - OH is getting quite into it too and has been putting all his change in my tub too (right up to 50ps!! ) I find it hard to give up my 50ps - need them for the machines in work heehee, but I'm trying to put everything up to that in
I have the little digital counter tub, which isn't gonna be a great surprise next Dec, but is a great motivator to actually see the total rising!

A very good morning to everyone,
Everybody seems to be doing great, putting money into their pots. A few coins in for me last night, also a couple in DW's pot, she's yet to get the concept that she needs to put some coins in, and they just don't appear from nowhere  lol.
Sue, I see you have a growing army of "Pocket Raiders", the accused are Little Chicken, redmel1621 and mickey mouse. You really shouldn't encourage them, this might lead to them hiding behind doors ready to cosh their OH's over the head to relieve them of loose changelol
Ratty67, did you manage to turn your visitor upside down to see if they were carrying any "spare"?
Stunty, welcome to the under the thumb club mate. Just to let you know I'm boss in our house and I have my wife's permission to say solol, hope the move went OK for Mrs S. BTW ladies have so much stuff, because they can!
Mrsmortenharket, good morning Lisa, hope your "little bump" is growing healthily, and that you're taking You time and resting.
Junior_j, take heed of your mum, she is right to tell you you will regret opening your pot, anyway, as a youngster you could get away with asking your mum for some money, and leave your pot to grow lol.
Sarellie8, well done on your first day of being "weed free" :T , keep up the good work, don't forget, you will be healthier, and better off financially, we're here to support you if the will gets weak.
Last but certainly not least, a warm welcome to anyone who's joined the [STRIKE]asylum[/STRIKE] sorry challenge.
Keep saving everyone and take care

Sue-UU....my Bertie Bassett is a plastic money box in the shape of..um..Bertie Bassett! He originally came full of allsorts (they didn't last long:o ) and now every year he's used to save money for my Christmas Meat!
Unfortunately Bertie gives up his savings far too easily so I'm using a Terramundi for my sealed pot and Bertie for coppers as I'm less likely to raid him for them!!
Anyhooooo.....few coppers in bertie today and £1 in terramundi. Lost track of whats in both so thats good!
Miss P
