429 here thanks for letting me join I sort have a head start I have about £4 in change that I was saving for nothing in particular so have decided this will be a great way to be motivated. Can you put me a target of £500 as I would like that for next christmas to get my lil girl prezzies and have some savings for once in my life thanks

Hi all.

£1.61 for me today. After posting last nite decided I will set a target at £400 please Sue.

And have also decided..............that when I go to bed in a minute I will be having my last cigarette and start using the patches that I have had for a month. Will defo need some help!! (Please)!!

What I can't decide is whether to put the money that I will be saving into the pot as well .

Before buying one for myself I'd been wondering whether any one had actually achieved getting the money out it as I couldn't bear shelving out all that money only to then need to smash it next December to get at it. Hopefully today will be the first "Non Smoking Day" for sarellie8 :j . Can I make a suggestion on the ciggie money? Why not put half into your 'pot' and the rest into a separate account, then give yourself a pamper day once a month, so you know you're getting something out of not smoking. HTH

Well done margb :T , on the fantastic sum of £930, I bet you needed a drink after 3 hours of tweezing £2 coins out of your terremundi, congratulations. Also well done to mummytummy :T for the £10 lotto win going into your pot.

I worked out last night (I couldn't sleep) flaming cockrol thinks the middle of the night is day time arrrrrrrr I need to put in £2 a day to hit my target so thought that if only I stop buying all the coffee's at college will easily do that so going to swap two coffees for water and I'll be healthier too. So let the challenge begin. :j
