This'll be the earliest I've been for the last 2 or 3 nights, I was getting shattered. I'm off to bed now and hope you're feeling more sleepy by now. Sweet dreams reb.

Sue, I didn't mean to offend with that comment. All I meant is that a few people (very few!) can come across as not-so-friendly and right now I couldn't take that. I still want to post an SOA and ask for help but need DH's permission  He's the private/paranoid type.
Thanks for all the hugs, they definitely help!
PS: no more pennies in my pot, can you tell I don't spend money ?!
Mellika,
I don't think sue was referring to you, I think she meant the comments from other people
. I know where you're coming from, as some peoples comments can be abbrasive, if not a little insensitive  .
Have a great day hunSparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. Total for SPC3 £1,030.57 Total For SPC 4 £2247.00 Total for SPC 5 £2574.62 :T Total for SPC 6 £4552.91:T

Hello,
Could I please join in with this challenge??
I am a newbie to the DFW boards, though have been a member & post on other boards for over a year (under a different name - I was embarassed about the debt so adopted another name to "preserve my anonymity"!!!!
)
Anyway, I am up & running with sorting things out, so this would be a good thing to do to help save for Christmas.
Just one question - I have started a spending diary to see where my excess goes  (where?? where??!! lol) So would I include anything I put in my pot, in my spending diary? Or just throw it in & forget about it? Hope that makes sense!!0 -
I always prefer 'throwing it in and forgetting about it' so it's more of a surprise (and therefore more of a treat) when I finally open my pot

You're welcome Ruby, it's a pleasure. Be careful of your fingers when piercing that lid for Heaven's sake! Also be careful what you're saying about "peeing" on the escalator too!!!:rotfl:quote]
Oh Lord, yes it does rather sound as though I have an escalator/incontinence issue! :rotfl: No problems in that area though, I promise!
Last night my walk home increased by at least 5 minutes due to my eyes being cast downwards to the pavement the whole time. No roadkill spotted but it was only day 1! Hopefully I'll avoid braining myself on a lamppost while trying to find that elusive first 1p....

I have a great technique for money spotted at the top of escalators - put your foot on top of th coin and slide it along until you can safely stop and pick it up!
I have a no spend day today so nothing in th pot.
Sue - i stocked up so th choc came to about £5.40 ish and the rest of th change went in my pots!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
