I'm going to see Priscilla next week though - and I just can't wait:D:D:D I'm going to go the whole hog and dress up.
Comic relief is so sad.:A:A:A

A very warm welcome to the thread mogchops and CherryPie (thank Heavens one of you is going to behave!!!) Lovely to meet you both.
All the very best with sorting yourself out mogchops ...though I think most of us are doing that or have been at some time so, as you already know, you're never alone! To answer your question, I just throw it in and forget about it, but if it's best for you and your diary to include it then do so - a case of whatever is best for you! Enjoy yourselves here and have fun with saving, it's addictive mind, so be warned! You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on post 2 of page 1, read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll help you with any queries.Mellika wrote:Sue, I didn't mean to offend with that comment. All I meant is that a few people (very few!) can come across as not-so-friendly and right now I couldn't take that. I still want to post an SOA and ask for help but need DH's permission  He's the private/paranoid type.
No need to worry at all there Mellika and I can't imagine you could possibly offend ME!!!
Especially when you're speaking about a few others who, you're right, do come across as insensitive, they're the ones with the problem, not you!!! Everyone needs help now and then and a listening ear or two help us all so very much. Ignore any like that and just pay attention to those of us who care about the situations of others. An SOA would be very handy, I hope your DH sees that too.......Ahhh bless you sparky :kisses3: - though Kas had eaten most of it before I got here!!! I did mention it within the replies last week, but it wasn't seen!
I'm a bit shy about Birthdays though so wasn't bothered at all. Thanks to you too LC2!rosepink1984 wrote:Sue - I stocked up so the choc came to about £5.40 ish and the rest of the change went in my pots!
Thank Heavens for that, I had visions of it being just 1p in the pot and £9.99 worth inside you!!
Have a wonderful weekend everybody, best day's Sunday, but make the best of both!

Reb - Thank you for the orgy hugs, well needed! I did laugh but it was more of a nervous laugh. And SOA is a State of Affairs... or was that a joke question...? *feels all eyes on her* Oh and you never come across as unfriendly!!
Charlie - Can't call them men, more like children. But they were like in their 40's!! Thanks for the hugs! Kids in PJ's for red nose day, that's cute, were they wearing trainers or slippers? Please, this is a very important question!
LC - I agree, proper show-off! £20!!! I think that's all I'll find when I open my pot in December! :rotfl:
CherryPie - Welcome, this club is very addictive mind. You'll love it here, everyone's lovely and so funny. At least that's my impression so far, I'm new too
Sue - I think I am closer to convincing him! *fingers crossed*
I am amazed (read shocked) at how much money you all put in your pots. I know I've said this before, but it's still amazing. Like I said, I'll probably only find £20 when I open mine! :rotfl: But luckily we don't really spend money at Christmas (we're usually money neutral) so I'm thinking that money can go to so many other things, like debt repayments or a slow cooker/food processor/table-top oven... Or to stocking up freezer and cupboards! :j Am I sad or what?! :rotfl:GC March Wk1 £28.72/£30 Wk2 £28.4/£29
