Oh, and just a couple of hours ago I was walking past the local Job Centre, tripped and fell on my face. There were about a dozen men, 2 asked if I was OK, the rest just laughed at me like 5 year olds. And these were grown men!

I am ok thanks, just sore hands where I skinned them.
The men laughing (and they weren's chuckles, they were proper guffaws) didn't bother me too much personally. But I have to say it left me with this bitter feeling of disappointment in people. No manners, no consideration. THAT has been niggling at me. BUT I will be happy and optimistic tomorrow

Sue, I didn't mean to offend with that comment. All I meant is that a few people (very few!) can come across as not-so-friendly and right now I couldn't take that. I still want to post an SOA and ask for help but need DH's permission :rolleyes: He's the private/paranoid type.
