Sealed Pot Challenge 2 "The Return"

I put £5 in my tin out of my wages this week, I do a bit of cleaning. Plus other bits of change.

I also had to renew the car insurance and the breakdown, both with the RAC. I had to make phone calls to 2 different numbers. TUT! I asked if I could have a discount please. On breakdown they gave me £35.25 discount and on the insurance they gave me £8 and £25 M&S vouchers. Almost a 16% discount.Not bad for just asking eh? :T :T :T

The £25 vouchers are going in my sealed pot when they arrive. :A Does anybody else do this sort of thing? Would like to also add my savings but alas.......can't afford to, hence me asking for a discount in the first place.

Not bad for just for being a bit cheeky or is it sensible?

Well done you. :j :j And yes roadkill is money just found outside of your house. You seem to be an expert. I have as of yet not found a penny this year. I did about 10 years ago find £100 near a car. I went to the house it was near and asked the man if he had lost anything. He said no. I asked him to check his pockets and when he did his face dropped a mile. MONEY was the only word he said. I handed it to him and his wife who was just behind him clouted him, quite hard! I've told you hundred times not to put loose money in your pocket she screamed, as they shut the door. I didn't even get a thanx, but I did giggle all the way to the car. i did wonder what he would have got if the money had been permanently lost. Poor chap!

Nothing in my pot yet today, but I'm about to sneak some of DH loose change when he puts it on the dressing table in a minute and I found a pound in my pocket earlier, so I just might..............put that in.........if I feel like it:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Looks like I might have to have an early raid on my pot and bank some of it. Will know more after the weekend.

Won £10 on the lottery again thats twice this year!! So will put the £7

profit in my box. Never got round to making a pig think I might leave it

till Monday then the little one can help while the others are at school.

Been a while since i posted so thought i'd better update.

Loads of clunks gone in especially as i have cleared my car out ready for selling it. I'm avioding putting anything but silver in my terrimundi and i leave all my coppers in a unsealed tin as to feel the need to steal out of it would mean it was an absolute last resort and i'm miles from that.

Put 40p in the pot yesterday and put another 82p yesterday. Trying to put about £2 a week as that would mean almost £100 by Christmas by just saving away my small change that I dont even notice... I LOVE THIS CHALLENGE!
