I had a really *#@* night at work last week, So peed off and felt so unappreciated..so much so that I convinced myself I was not going to go in for the final shift (knowing I'd be losing out on about £60-70 and mentally preparing for it) Does anyone do that occassionally? Anyway I did go in on that final night - but I told myself that all money earnt from that shift would have to go into my saving tins - It should be next Friday's wage, but I pushed it forward and have canned £55 in £2, £1 coins already. I Should be okay for food n stuff, all January debt payments have been made already.

    Hi Sue-UU

Hey this thread is really taking off! I haven't been on for just a couple of days and it's taken me ages to catch up.

    Thanks for my number :T

So I'm trying for roadkill and I got all excited because I saw a cent on the floor but when I bent to pick it up it was under thick ice so I had to walk away and leave it, boo hoo, and then just in case anybody had seen me bend down and back up again that it's perfectly natural to walk that way. :o

So far I have put money obtained from recycling which amounts to a grand total of $1.20 and 11 cents found in the car and have also paid $1.31 from the IOU from the previous UNsealed tin. Basically I plan to put any money found and any money from recycling in the tin and we'll see how we go.

Good luck to everybody else, keep your eyes peeled!! :D
  • I've had no £2 coins this week, is that because they're in everyones sealed pots I wonder?? I'm going to put a fiver in to make up for it, doesn't make a nice clunk but makes me feel good.

    Gooooooooooooood morning :D

ooooooh another member from near me :D No chance of any roadkill as it is too icy so no one is out and about and any that does fall onto the pavements would get stuck in the ice.

hoping for some clunks later - I think it is time for hubby to have his shower so I can do another ninja attack :D

Well the money boxes are still soaking wet, think the paste was too thick and we've put far too much on, I'll water it down for the other layers now. they are sat on top of the cooker now, hopefully they will be ready for another layer after school tomorrow:rolleyes:

No money for the pot today, didn't spend any yesterday and won't today.

    Have a good day everyone
