    a hetic few days i put about £2.20 in yesterday it was my train fare to the gym but i never went.today ive been shoping and i can see in my purse theres lots of chain no road kill:confused: maybe everyone is doing it in my town lol

  • Just £1 for me today. Went for a long walk this afternoon and thought i'd found 5p road kill but it turned out to be one of those little watch batteries :rotfl: Me thinks I need stronger glasses :eek:
    Can't even raid the OH's pockets as he's in Coventry with friends this weekend, but hopefully that means there'll be even more to pick at when he gets back tomorrow :T:T

  • Well everyone...I have had a long think about it, and now my brain hurts!:doh:

    You'll be pleased (don't know if that's really the right word to use:confused: ) to know Skippycat & Moneysavingfamilycomp that I am going to fine myself £3.20 for not going swimming this morning! Consider my wrists slapped!:o

    OH has now gone out, so i intend to run around the house like a total loony looking for change! Let's see what I can find!!

    (Oh and I am going to start a separate pot for £2 coins and for fines for not going swimming!)

    Well I asked if roadkill is found money...
    no one answered but assuming it is in the past Ii have found...
    £25.00 M&S voucher
    £5.00 Shopping voucher (bought DS trousers in Adams)
    £20.00 note (and I still remember where)
    £10.00 note (ditto)
    engagement(?) rings x 2 (separately) (taken to police and unclaimed) I gave my mum 1
    TopShop gift card (took into TopShop and found there was a £7.00 balance on it - gave it to Big Issue seller - well it WAS almost xmas) IF You find a gift card in the street I suggest you pick it up and get it checked;)
    so folks - more than just money is out there....
