Sealed Pot Challenge 2 "The Return"

The anticipation is brilliant of what is going to be in the pot.
Usually I only saved coppers in pots but knowing the money is going towards Christmas everything is going in!
£2 coin in this morning and may have more change later.

Morning all, my son is now in on the saving game he's only 7 and we've just done our first layer of paste and paper for our money boxes, they are going to take ages to dry in this cold weather:rolleyes:

Already today found a load of coppers on his bedroom floor so they can go in his box when its done.

I've counted up all the coppers and five p's in my piggy bank - have £1 in pennies, £1 in two p's and £1 in five p's! yippee! I will get the bank to change it into £1 coins and put them in my pot, because £1 coins will take up less room than all the change. I'm so excited about saving money!

Eldest son gave me back the tenner he owed me this morning. I've put it under the pot for now. If I don't need it by the end of the month, into the pot it will go

I put the £1 coins into my TV again but at the end of every 8 weeks when its emptied I will put any extra into my terramundi (am half way through week 1 of the cycle and am £3 up so far)
then another £1.49 in change for my terramundi .. but that will be it for the weekend as i am in to stay now lol xx

another £2 coin will be going in my pot today once the husband hadsit over and also £3 luncheon vouchers from pinecone arrived today.
no roadkill though, for some reason no one in lincolnshire drops there change for me lol

lillmismup, DW and I are sooooooo jealous that your going to NYC, we went in November to renew our wedding vows, and never wanted to come home, I'd move there tomorrow if I had the chance

stunty, my Mrs S said to run away and get married, then have a party when you get home, it saves an awful lot of money and you get the wedding your way _party_ _party_ _party_
