Have a £2 coin in my purse, which has been there for weeks as an emergency fund, it's the only cash I have at the mo. But I didn't spend it on chocolate today (I was soooooooo tempted) and have decided that if I had spent it on choc it wouldn't be in my purse anymore and so it's going in the pot! Yay! I've started off my pot, and not put anymore weight on! I was encouraged because my trousers kept nearly falling down today, so I must be losing weight! I need to dig out my belt from the drawer though, I don't think anyone would cope with the unexpected sight of me in my knickers in the middle of the town!

    hahaha rofl :rotfl:

Hello everyone! Stunty ur a good meet and greeter lol!

I am now starting to have a saving brain wave. I know i am putting on average £1.50 ish a day in my pot , some times more! and about 8p a day in my coppers and 5s jar. I have now decided to put some in a easy open glass jar and the majority in my sealed pot , reason being , i never have any money to save for things i want now. And i know this sounds sad but i am getting the sims 2 hopefully tomorrow or monday , and i want to get a couple of expansion packs for about tenner each (or less when i bargain hunt) so i am going to start saving for things for me as well as to a new wardrobe when i lose this weight lol!

  • Junior_j, have you tried looking on ebay for the sims game and expansion packs? or I know when my DS wants a new game he all ways tries and gets it 2nd hand from one of the games type shops.

  • My trip to McDonalds only yielded me 1p of "saveable" change!

I hope the £2 coins I put in earlier in the week will help keep me on the £2 per day rate I am aiming for :p
