i see a few of you mentioning about roadkill coppers where is the best places to find them when im out and about i want to try and get some extra pennies

I find the most roadkill anywhere where kids have been, usually my local shop after lunchtime. My local bus service is good too after the kids have been on it to go to school ;) So's the train station around the vending machine!

I'm keeping a seperate tin for roadkill to see how much I can find between this Dec and next. It will then be counted along with the rest of my sealed pot. I've found £2.46 so far, largest coin a 50 pence piece! I've got the kids on the lookout now :D

Thankyou for my number......now have a wonderful slit in the side of my empty Roses tin......also a hole in the 1920's dining table, that was my mothers, where the drill slipped when ELH (ever loving hubby) was making it. It was funny, mum would have even smiled if she was here to see it, that be after she had clouted ELH! LOL!

Also have been and searched all money from drawers etc and tin now rattles. Yaaaaaay!
I don't get to come on here too often.
    Too buzy money saving!

Lurk around Burger king and Macdonalds for Roadkill.
They have burgers for 99p and most people dont seem bothered with the 1p change.
OH and I happened to go past one in the evening and got about 20ps worth!!:T

TheBees are back from our Christmas skiing trip! We'd never been away at Christmas but had a really relaxing time and it even snowed on Christmas day!:j

We now have 4 places to collect our coins - I'm collecting 20p coins in a tin that Father Christmas gave me, £2 coins go into the Puffin moneybox and £1 coins go into the whisky jar. Anything else goes into the glass terramundi.

OH finally got round to sealing the terramundi and whiskey jar so next term I'll not be able to dip into it for dinner money!

Today I got a £2 coin in the post office and tipped the rest of the change in my purse into the terramundi.

    Good luck everyone.

  • I'd like to join you all if thats ok. could I have a number please.

I wont set a target as Ive just joined the £2 coin savers, and my coppers already go into my National Childrens home charity box and I wouldnt want to deprive them of my millions.

Im really looking forward to this. Thanks
