well done slowlyfading:T and everyone else who has lost this week.

Ginger - 3 stone by the end of July seems like a huge task to me, thats about 12 weeks which means you would need to lose about 3 and a half pounds every week(if my maths is right) and thats not easy. It would put you under a lot of pressure. Maybe you need to lower your target a little to make it more attainable - please dont think I'm being negative, I just want you to be able to succeed.

I've decide to have a salmon fishcake, salad, rustic chips(last few left in bag) and some petite pois for dinner.

I'm in the process of doing some roasted veg cous cous with the Aldis roasted veg added to it to take to work tomorrow for lunch.

I forgot to mention that my sister has been put on a months trial of the new diet pill Orlistat by her doctor after struggling for 2 years to lose weight. She eats healthily but big portions in my opinion and has a mild tyroid problem they think. I'll let you know how she does.

well done slowlyfading and any other losers! :D
vixtress i'm having similar problems! Windows Internet Explorer hasn't been working on my PC for some reason, not loading pages and things so I'm now using Firefox and all my posts on various forums are going all weird :p

Tidying up before my mum arrives for her first visit here, I have a feeling we're going to be very bad food wise for the five days she's here so I'm doing my best to rectify it with food and exercise for today and tomorrow and in the days after she leaves! Weighing in on Wednesday morning before she arrives.

Breakfast - Soya yogurt and 1 banana
Lunch - Quorn and vegetable wrap
Dinner - HM Cauliflower and Brocolli soup
Snacks - 3 a day smoothie with strawberry, cherry and banana

Thanks Taplady but I have already lost one stone (since new year :o) and have a LOT to lose so think another two stone by July 31st is managable.... if I can get my head into it.

Good evening everyone, so many posts on here today! Well done to slowlyfading and any other losers:j

Well after last weeks upset when I put on, I am happy to report a 2.5 pound loss this week! I really am pleased:beer:

I am going to try to increase my walking as well, hoping it will help with the arthritis, I wake up often in the night with the most terrible pains in my legs. I have painkillers that are prescribed but only 3 a day plus paracetemol, but don't know what to do about the nights.

I had borrowed my daughters pedometer but she tells me that it is a cheapo one and not very accurate so I have ordered one from Amazon (I think some one on here recomended it - was it JoJo?) and will start to increase my activity. Also thanks to newlywed for the walking advice, I would probably started off trying to do the 10,000 failing miserablely then quitting!:o Increasing by a thousand steps each week seems sensible!

    Today I have had:

B - porridge with yogurt and a banana
L - Fridge leftover day - a couple of cabbage rolls, dry roast potatoes and half a tin of baked beans - all heated up in the remoska - was quite nice actually!
D - Ham, chicken and mixed veg rice bake

Welcome to all the new members!

    Love
    Marion

well not done too badly today.
B~ fruit and fibre with a small banana and glass of OJ
L~ ham and cucumber sandwich (though had to have white bread as had nothing else)
D~ huge salad with 2 boiled eggs.

Went to sainsburys this afternoon just to get some fruit and veg but bought loads as they had some great reductions. All their salad bags were reduced as the date on them is tomorrow, ended up buying 3 mixed bags and ate nearly a whole one for tea!!

Weighed this morning and had stayed the same as last week which is actually fine since I have been so bad the past couple of weeks (a 3yr old just can't possibly eat a whole easter egg herself!!!)

Have some fruit if I want to snack later, no exercise yet but hopefully will do some on the wii fit later.
