I'd like to nominate MBAZ for her post on feeding a family of four on #20 for a month on the Old Style board. It truly inspired me to change the way I shopped, cooked & ate. Brilliant!0

I would like to nominate Dunners for "The £2008 in 2008 club" thread in the competition section which over 900 people have joined this year.
Thanx for organising it and keeping it running throughout the year. :beer:0 -
Are people getting this right?
Is it nominate poster of the year, or nominate post of the year?
If it's post of the year, surely you ought to be providing a link to a post you feel worthy of winning the competition, and not just giving the name of a poster and saying why they are so good(!).
Ps. I also nominate crazyposhgirl. Never heard of her, but she sounds like a star. And I like posh girls, I find them very sexy.

I agree with nominating the daily newspaper summary posts, but you cannot nominate nudge without nominating quoia - their daily posts are invaluable and surely jointly win posts of the year/month/day!

I agree that the stalwarts of the newspaper thread en-masse deserve the nomination
I feel I must mention crocker who did a sterling early morning job to update us all with the MOC and offers.
Carried on brilliantly by Quoia, who normally posts just after midnight !!! supported by Nudge and barneydog.
There are numerous others whose combined input is brilliant.
Thanks to these guys and gals I save a small fortune day in day out, not just the occasional "Grabbit quick" mega-deals.
This week I have had free selection boxes plus saved about £20 on food shopping In the past few months I have had free cinema tickets, free lunches, free coffees......the list is endless.0 -
I would like to nominate crazyposhgal who puts in so much hard work on the Boots Grabbit site.
Thanks to her advice, and her wonderfully clear information, I have saved an absolute fortune on Christmas gifts this year, and normal purchases too.
It can be a dreadful time when money is short, and you want to show somone you care, by giving the sort of present you'd love to receive yourself. Thanks to crazyposhgal, I have managed to stretch my pension to such a degree, that I can hold my head high when giving out my largesse!
In addition, I am clued up on the latest Boots items, and know what any age group would like to receive as a gift.
As well as nominating CPG for this award, I would like to say what a great, friendly group the Bootsers are, and indeed, what a helpful lot of people contribute to this whole site.
Many many thanks, and a Happy New Year to one and all!0 -

I also agree. These are the posts I check everyday. I do not comment very often, but would like to thank these guys for all their hard work. And, if this is a nomination for posters they will be the ones I choose.:xmastree::xmassign: :xmastree:0 -
I'd like to nominate Mum of 4 for her 12 month planting plans thread... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1225019
She grows enough fruit and veg to feed her family of 6 so saving a small fortune, and in the thread she assists others to do the same (or smaller scale).TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0 -
I would like to nominate Viktory - for pointing out the obvious, which you lot missed
