Update 7 Jan: This thread is now closed. Well done to iwannabeonthebeach for the Advent Competitions 2008 post/thread.
Please send me a PM with your name and address so I can get your winnings to you.
Please send me a PM with your name and address so I can get your winnings to you.
Update 5 Dec: As suggestions for Post of the Month have become quite scarce over the last year, we've decided this will be the last award. But to round it off, we've decided to make it POST OF THE YEAR. So if you've seen a post at any point in 2008 which you think is worthy of the £50 award, please let us know (obviously, posts that have won Post of the Month WILL NOT win Post of the Year). The last date for nominating is 31 December '08.
As it's likely there'll be a mass of nominations please DO NOT SUGGEST A POST WHICH HAS ALREADY BEEN PUT FORWARD - repeated posts make the selection process extremely time consuming. If you would like to show your support for a nominated post, please click its 'thanks' button. Posts which repeatedly nominate something that's already been suggested may get disqualified for lobbying, so please read through the thread first.
Details of how to nominate are below...
_____________________________________________
Please nominate your most useful/helpful Post of the Month £50 Award by replying in this thread. Remember, you're nominating, NOT voting - there is a difference!

Also, please don't lobby to win the prize! As Martin says, it's not cricket! If you really want to show your support, click the thanks button of the first post that's nominated the user you feel should win. If there's too much lobbying we might have to discount the nomination!
Please include:
A. A hyperlink to the specific thread/post - highlight the web address of the thread/post when you're viewing it from the address bar at the top of the screen and copy (press 'control' and 'c') and paste ('control' and 'v').
B. Why you think they should receive the award (no more than one paragraph please!).

I would also like to nominate pinkladymel http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...html?t=1139681
She started this fab thread that a lot of us have found to be a life line at this time of year - not only am I organised but I have saved so much money in the process of being organised and this is down to pinkladymel.
She really deserves this as she takes the time to answer every single post (and there have been a lot) and inspire us and give us lots of ideas and help along the way0 -

i have had the best time recently on one special thread and I feel a real part of other peoples lifes. I enjoy myself, share funny stories, laugh and cry at other peoples tales and we all support each other through it all. I have joined a quidco bingo team (thanks Jamtart6!!), have made lots of lists (checking them more than twice Santa!!) and saved time and money.
I love Christmas, I love being organised and although I used organizedchristmas.com last year I was on my own, now I'm part of a community of like minded people (AKA Christmas nutters) and I will continue to join them on the new thread for throughout 2009!!
So http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...html?t=1139681
with Pinkladymel also gets my vote and my heartfelt thanks xxx0 -

Correct decision to ditch this award as only about one in ten posters seem to understand the concept of nomination.
As a final award, I'd like us to go out on a high and I nominate ZINCOXIDE's 'Having fun with Debitas'
