  • OK, we've been back in touch with the despatch people. They still have (hundreds) of Woolworths items with them. They have been told not to deliver them. Nobody can pick up any items.

It would appear that everything has been frozen until Deloitte, the administrator has decided what is to be done with it all.

you'd have thought that customers getting the items that they have been charged for would be a no brainer, funds taken, items sent, what's the confusion?

I am in the same boat, order £200 worth of toys on Sat 22/11/08 money taken on Sat 22/11/08. Parcel due Fri 28/11/08, dispatch e-mail sent said dispatch Thu 27/11/08 but still no parcel.

Like you said appears that they are with the courier?

Does anyone have a phone number for Woolworths ?

One of my colleague heard on the radio that we should either get our orders or a refund ?

Might be worth trying to find a number for deloitte, to see whether they know what is happening.

Perhaps get Martin on the case.

Have just found an e-mail customer.relations@woolworths.co.uk and e-mailed to them, but not sure I'll get a reply.

Woolworths main corporate website is still up www.woolworthsgroupplc.com from there you can get their London address and phone number.

    Deloitte email is woolworthsplc@deloitte.co.uk or phone 020 7706 5000

Parcelnet couriers received a memo on Friday telling them to return any items from Woolworths, this morning another telling them to deliver as normal.
  • I'm in the same boat as obviously afew others.
I paid on my debit card (rang the bank this morning) who have said that with non receipt of goods l can make a claim in 30 days of the money going from my account. I'd need to open a dispute which they would do for me if the goods don't arrive within those 30 days.
Suppose with the latest from SADIE give it acouple more days
  • I have been trying to contact someone all morning, placed my order on the 24th for delivery on the 28th but no item and money taken from my account on the 27th.
Got through to Abingdon Woolworths who phoned the courier said they have no idea whats going on, I can't get refund and they could offer no other advice.
feel like walking in my local shop with my email reciept and just picking up my item, after all i have paid for it.
