Please let me know which companies have not passed on the new lower VAT

Vonage (vonage.co.uk) have not dropped their prices.
I specifically emailed them and their response was that they DO NOT change their prices every time their "costs" change.
I pointed out to them that VAT is not their cost, but is a "TAX" on comsumers, so they have just increased prices. One would assume they understand taxes pretty well as they are a US company and in the US they list their prices ex-tax and add tax based on the state... They don't increase the prices in the states where sales tax is lower/not present. True enough that they must quote prices inc VAT here, so you currently have an "odd" pricing phenomenon eg. 7.82 vs 7.99.
Anyway, why should their Revenue rise by 2.17%, this all drops thru to their bottom line!!!0 -
I was looking at buying a £100 Swarovski item from HSamuel online. Around Xmas time all the prices were showing with the new VAT rate. However I have just gone on their website now and the prices are back to the original prices before the VAT cut :dance: :dance:0
