Day to day I am a SHE Specialist / Project Manager on a decent wage.
Then additionally:
Over the years I have created and maintained websites for myself that earn a little extra a month for me. I maintain them whenever I need to.
I also, when I get the time do some aerial photography work using a telescopic mast setup.0 -
I run a internet company that specialises in the marketing of tourism websites.
We run over 200 sites with a staff of just 3.
How do we do it? We 'employ' around 40 freelancers from around the UK, who mostly write content for the sites, and help with promotion and PR. They work from home, mostly part-time, fitting it around other commitments (children, other work, etc.) Get in touch if you'd like info!!0 -

Work full time in an office, but my best job is being a candle consultant via party plan with Partylite.
Going for leader in the new year so hopefully will be busy with recruiting and booking in shows0 -
I love my job - I work full time, I have a term time contract, take my children to school in the morning and collect them at the end of the day. I am the training manager and nvq assessor for a domiciliary care company. I love it - no worrying about school holidays. Complete change of career for me though I previously worked as a head nurse at a veterinary hospital for less money, more hours and more stress.
The thing I love most about my job is interviewing people who say they have no experience in care then tell me they have children!!
I love helping people back into work.0 -
I'm another office slave. I'm on a good salary, but a bad break-up left me with huge debts and I'm trying to pay them back as fast as I can.
What really annoys me is that most high street stores won't take me on as a part-timer because I already have a full-time job. I could really do with getting out among the people and also with the staff discountsA few years ago I was prepared to give up all free time at Christmas and New Year, saved up my annual allowance so I could work my a*** off over the festive season and then no-one wanted me. That's when I found MSE :j

Same here, I'm another 9 to 5er office slave dealing with people and looking for job No.2 to fit in (when!!??) for extra cash to pay off CC debt
final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
I'm a technician for a water supplier, everything from electrical work on pumps to calibration of instruments, repair of equipment, making sure the plant runs correctly, ensuring radio and mobile communications work correctly, climbing up reservoirs, into dank, smelly, noisy pits, generally getting my hands (and me) dirty on occasion and driving round the New Forest.
Previous to that, worked as a service engineer for an American company that made robotic instruments used in the pharmaceutical industry, and prior to that a service engineer for a gas detection company. Both the service jobs involved worldwide travel.
And it's all fun <usually>If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.

Hi Lauren,
What don't i want outsourced?!
I outsource the niggly stuff I don't have time to do, such as testing and tracking sites' performance, checking links are up to date, market research, writing articles, blogging and lots of other things. But the VAs I use at the moment are all abroad and work for less than Brits would work for.
Tim Ferriss who wrote the 4 Hour Work Week outsources everything, in fact his 4 hours of work are actually replying to emails and checking how rich he is!
I'm really slow so I needed his book and to outsource just to fit everything in. But it's a great book for anyone.
