I am a DEA - Domestic Energy Advisor/Assessor, self-unemployed! It's nice work, but there are too many of us out there for the work available, and rates of pay are reducing all the time.
I did try surveys but got fed up of getting half-way through only to be told 'Thank you but you don't fit the profile but here's 10 points towards the prize draw'A bit of a con, methinks!

asking charty shops that sort of question, are they likely to give you a good answer, concidering your asking this question out of the blue.just a question, if your paid by the item & the pasy pretty good, you must get a lot of money per item?
I guess it depends if you get a nice person in the shop who doesn't mind helping you out. Its worth checking the phone book for local wholesalers though. The price per item depends on what you have to do to de-brand the item. So if you had to remove a sewn in label rather than just cross through a brand with marker pen you would get more money per item as its going to take more effort to doNot been here in years! I am a grocery technician (yeah, shelf stacker!) for morrisons working nights, however, i am also a qualified teacher hoping to get back into teaching again next year. I have been told that i need to gain more experience but how can i gain more experience without having a teaching job?. I will have to try the voluntary route for a while i suppose.

I'm an internet marketer, but when I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was a resource where I could list a job I wanted to outsource!
My second thought was, that when people are relatively anonymous, they often lie about their job. So I wonder how many of the fabulous sounding jobs mentioned here are actually true!
I once worked for a car insurance company, and 'occupation' was of course one of the questions we had to ask people. One guy said he was a writer. So the computer system wouldn't let me go any further until he said exactly what kind of writer, where and when he'd been published etc.
He sure did not want to answer my many questions, and totally messed my average calls per hour up, the call was so long.
Turns out he just WISHES he was a writer, as he's never actually been published! He was actually a civil servant, but he really wished he hadn't lied.
Shame you can't put your company in your sig, eh OP?! (I may have come across your site recently in an IM forum)
