I am 28 and a mum to a 2 year old boy I work part time as an accounts assistant for a small electrical contractor. Yes it is very boring but very handy when my son is as young as my boss is very flexible with regards to my working hours as long as the work is done he doesnt mind what hours I work so I can do 3 mornings or 2 full days etc etc.
I went to evening classes last year to enhance my accounting skills to improve my chances of a better position when my son starts school.0 -

I'm slowly selling stuff on Ebay, I do surveys (pants money tho' for the time) and use cashback sites, but I've saved tons of money on the household account by researching all our purchases and bills online, my way of bringing money in is not letting it out in the first place - thanks to this board!

I'm a 25-yr-old GCSE dropout and I like to mix it up. I do:
- Lots of silly art things that don't make any money;
- Employed part-time coming up with new ideas for a price comparison website (which makes lots of money) - ETA: after a number of PMs, I should point out that this is a professional position as a marketing specialist, on a pro-rata salary of £38k. It's not easy to get into but in my case required a lot of networking, career building and self-study for professional qualifications;
- Few hours a week posing naked in front of people (£10 an hour);
- Casual work doing security for events like Glastonbury (£12 an hour plus free entry and backstage access to the events worked);
- Some freelance graphic design (£200 for a 3-day project);
- Landlady (two lodgers).Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
