I work as a Despatcher for the police. I love my job, work shifts but it is varied and can be very stressful yet very rewarding. I despatch the officers to calls, do all the persons checks etc. Every day is different, I can deal with youth disorder calls to stabbings and murders. I have worked for the police for 3 years and couldnt go back to working mon-fri 9-5 in an office. Also the incentive of having a good pension when I retire is also a bonus.0

Interestingly, my main employer seems to be avoiding the cc, they are taking-on 2-3 new people a week & have just started a 3 shift system (5:30am - 2:00pm, 8:00am - 4:30pm & 2:00pm - 10:30pm), so for 8 hours a day there are at least 6 people who can't work as their possitions are already covered.
I am actively looking for employment, and will consider any job offers within 20 miles of Colchester, and paying in excess of £17500 p/aNever Knowingly Understood.
