I actually lauhged so much at this I couldn't find the air in my lungs to tell my boyfriend what was funny
Something about bananas as substitutes it seems... Daughter had a hand of bananas instead of a four cheese pizza!Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0 -
This is why I don't shop online anymore as the substitutes were stupid.
From what I can recall, these are the ones I had. Original ordered item first
. Bin liners - nappy sacks
. Pasta - a jar of baby food with pasta
. bottles of Coke - cola bottle sweets. The delivery driver gave these for free
. coffee - tin of dressed lobsterThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I've had 'normal' products as a substitute for gluten free items before, but I started writing on the order form 'substituted items must also be gluten free' .
Actually though I get very few substitutes and don't think I've ever had anything really daft.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The last thing I bought that was substituted was mozzarella sticks. They brought frozen sausage rolls instead.
Once I ordered a large jar of Lloyd Grossman sauce for £1 and they brought a jar half the size that cost £2.
I almost always return the substitutions because they are obviously never what I wanted - but happy to keep the option turned on just to see what they bring!0
