I reuse jiffy bags, and boxes. I do use black bags if the item is big, but I also use brown paper, proper parcel tape, and printed labels. I always put tissue paper inside the clothes I sell too.I Believe in saving money!!!:T

*shudders* clothing and brown paper isnt a great mix
fingers just rip through the paper as you grab the items out of yorkies(the big trolleys we use)0 -

Cheers for the info. I only use brown paper occasionally but will remember not to now.
Not too long ago I sent a massive parcel of 4 items of clothing wrapped in brown paper to Bulgaria! Luckily the buyer got it ok though...
Saying that, the clothes were wrapped in tissue paper and a layer of bubble wrap before the brown paper...0 -

As i said before, i always reuse envelopes, ect But if i have run out ill quite often use a thick carrier bag to post. I mainly sell clothes and with a thick bag wrapped around a t-shirt several times and plenty of tape its every bit as good as the postbags, no way it will get damaged or wet in there.
And i don't do it as a rip-off. I charge £2.00 postage and send out first class which always comes to around £1.50, leaving me with just enough to cover the paypal fees and ebay fees. Sometimes i end up a few pence over, sometimes under, but it all evens out and means i don't charge a thing extra for the packaging.OnePoll - £12.40, Yougov - £1.00, VO - £24.25, youdoo miles - 24292, MHF - £0.00
Not much, but its a start :rotfl:

I recycle everything possible if it's clean and fit for the job that's great. My feedback often said excellent packaging. I didn't try to make a profit on P/P to cover any other costs and on the odd occasion that I had overpriced I gave a refund.0

quite often send in plastic bags - Black Bin Bag cut in half so it layers up - Always tends to be more sellotape than plastic bag at the end of it0
