Kingfisher group (comet, b&q, woolworths) vouchers suspended?

hi i had £85 worth of kingfisher vouchers, all in £10 & £5 vouchers this morning i went into woolworth bought i small bar of chocolate for 55p, handed in my £10 voucher, and they gave me the change in CASH, done this until i used all my vouchers up, certainly beats losing all that money, but i would do it quick before they realise what they are doing.

kingfisher vouchers have also dissappeared off the options for reward on consumer pulse for anyone who uses that site.

Hey Guys! I've just been into B&Q over the weekend to buy a Christmas tree and have had my B&q/Comet/Woolworths vouchers declined. A mandate has been sent out to all B&Q store telling them to stop accepting the Kingfisher group vouchers!

Anyway at the moment I'm formally complaining by post to:
B&Q Customer Services

And I'm also trying to find an address for either Kingfishers directors or sombody high up in thier company so I can bombard them with complaints about how they should honour thier promises! : )
For christs sake they sponsor F1 motor racing teams! Possibly the most expencive form of sport advertising! I'm sure they can afford to pay me my £20 back!

I still had £60 in Kingfisher vouchers left. After being turned down to use them in both Comet and B&Q i went to Woolworths Romford to see if i could use them there today. I bought a toaster and an iron,and the lady asked me if i had any left. She said they had a mandate from head office to change them for cash,so i got £45 back. :j

thats weird as woolworths arent part of the kingfisher group and neither are comet

Flogistics -- a Woolworhs Group company issues the KINGFISHER GIFT VOUCHERS (KGV's) Woolworths Group (and therefore Flogistics) is NOT in administration.
Woolworths PLC which owns UK stores IS in Administration.

Woolworths actually gave cash for them without any purchase, yesterday -- Christmas Eve.
They cannot give credit, so HAVE TO return cash.

Ask for store manager if any problems.

Neither Bent&Questionable (A KINGFISHER GROUP Company!!) nor Comet (Ex Kingfisher Group) will accept KGV's

I am now banned from all Woolworths stores! --I have an illegibly signed, by a 'manager', letter dated 15th December to this effect.

Only got it on Tue 22 Dec. - Bit pathetic really.

I just can't imagine that the Woolworths stores BAN will be changing my life all that much though.

Just wanted to share this. I had £185 worth of these vouchers, and popped along to my local Woolworths today (their last day of business). I presented the vouchers at the till and was referred to the manager, who gave me cash to the value of the vouchers, no questions asked.

It seems Woolworths are authorised just to issue a straight cash exchange, so scoot down there quick while they're still open.
