Ronnie Barker's scriptwriter? Just for the record, Barker personally wrote many of the sketches for The Two Ronnies (and several other shows in which he appeared), submitting the scripts secretly under the pseudonym "Gerald Wiley" ('wily' - geddit?).
By using a pseudonym, he hoped not to influence the producers into using - or rejecting - his material.
Thankfully, they found Gerald Wiley's sketches so amusing that they were happy to broadcast them - including 'Four Candles' and those clever word-play sketches. Many years passed before Barker revealed that he was the mysterious "Gerald Wiley".

I know this isnt really the place for this but as you are all close friends now and I trust you, i have got 2 tickets for Il Divo in concert on sat 21st Feb at MEN arena, They are good seats. If any one is interested in buying, or knows someone who may be ,then let me know..;)
