And Gary Glitter. As they were flying back here from Thailand, he tried to commit suicide and jumped out of the plane. Unfortunately the coast guard found him in the North Sea, bobbing up and down on a small buoy.0

So ami/st, it's a LONG time ago, but what were your icesave stories? I only remember that you got your "compensation" quickly and I wasn't behind. Before that, I started to worry the weekend before "black weekend" but was reassured by a "Money Box" prog in which an icesave director assured MrMoney Box that everything was fine and dandy. But the time I realised this was utter shiite (on Sat Oct 10) and tried to gran my money, it was too late. Although it looked as if it had worked, I had the agonising few days when my account read zero but I knew the BACS would not have completed before the Monday Freeze!
My amount - just £3.5k BUT needed it before xmas to pay a tax bill
Be honest has Martin or MSE Dan just sent you a privo! In memory of Chris Hyde #8670 -
