Yep. They reversed my withdrawal on 6th Oct. but that's OK as otherwise I'd never have become a Veteran. Well it's OK now we've got our money back!!
Anyway off to bed now (in South Gloucestershire). Night, night0 -
Just picked up the Sunday Times Business section - haven't had time to read it today - and they are suggesting BOE interest rate drop to 2% this week. What price our savings then? ...... And will that be the bottom? Can feel another valium sandwich coming on.0

Splendid, been busy so missed the start of this.
Well I'm here now anyway0 -
From sunny Manchester - lifelong City supporter so don't mention that other team.
Know the Cat and Fiddle well. How they managed to serve me with a warm pint one winter's day with a severe snowstorm outside and about -20C, I have no idea. Is the picture of the cat playing the fiddle still there?
I was in Matlock a few weeks ago while staying the week at Eyam, you know, the plague village.
I seem the have had my fair share of pestilence this year.:rolleyes:0 -

Suesie: I hope your head is better this morning. Perhaps the enforced bed-rest has done you good. You do seem to get up very early.
Casabiosca: Are (were) you Acecard on Moneysupermarket? Just glanced through and they would like you to join them on Yahoo Icesurvivors group.
Congratulations to all who see the colour of their money today. Not in my account yet. Hopefully tomorrow (fingers crossed).0
